Statement of Intent
To create brand dedicated to magazines with a consistent alternative house style, which appealed to my target audience of style conscious 16–25-year-olds. The pre-established brand, Conde Nast , is known for their focus on high-fashion brands which are typical to their active audience which regularly buys their range of style and fashion magazines. To expand their audience, I wanted to delve into a style that Conde Nast has not explored fully. Some ideas I was inspired by were Vivienne Westwood and alternative subcultures like punk, goth and more. In both my posters, I use d a mix of serif and sans serif fonts. The red colour scheme I used on my first came directly from my model's hair and clothing. I did not use pure white or black to make sure that the magazine is accessible.
