Much like Newspapers, Magazines are losing revenue from physical print circulation but finding innovative ways to tackle this problem like websites and social media pages. With over 8000 magazines in circulation, there is lots of choice for UK citizens. Though most magazines are based on differing concepts from style to specific hobbies and interests some of the most purchased magazines are ones that state TV listings and times as this is a popular activity across most of the British public. However, apart from these TV magazines, National Geographic is the most brought magazine in Britain. 

It is not known how many magazines own a website; however popular magazines are known to have an online presence as well as a physical one too. 72% of adults in the UK read print and online magazine content every month. Because every magazine has a different subject matter, adults in the UK read differently. The numbers of people who read magazines of different subject matters differ: 

- 18.6 million like to read food and drink content 

- 16.2 million like to read travel content 

- 15.3 million like to read home ideas and DIY content 

- 13.5 million like to read about Fashion/Clothes content 

- 12.7 million like to read about Health & Fitness content 

The most popular fashion magazine is Vouge (the US version) with over 25 million people reading each month with its main target audience of millennial women being reached. Vogue attracts over 86.3 million unique readers to their website each month. Its editor-in- chief Anna Wintour helps to organize the Met Gala which brings together many celebrities and icons of fashion to fundraise money for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in New York City.  

Total revenue in the News and Magazines market was projected to reach $9.30bn in 2022. 

Total revenue is expected to show an annual growth rate of 8.85%, resulting in a projected market volume of $20.74bn by 2029. The definition of the News and Magazines market is that it contains apps that deliver the latest news and content.
